A Tradition of Service
In 1976, Ebbens Towing & Auto first opened for business in a two-bay shop at the intersection of Waupaca and Shawano Streets. Later on in the same year, they acquired Brown’s Towing, which was a business that had been in operation since 1959.
The combination of the two businesses added two wreckers, a 1972 Chevrolet and an old International. Three years later, they moved right across the road to a four-bay shop and remained there until 2000. In 2000, Ebbens built a six-bay, five-lift shop located at 507 Highway S. We now have 2 light-duty 4x4 wreckers, 1 medium-duty 4x4 wrecker, 2 carrier flat beds with wheel lifts for 2-car hauls, 2 heavy-duty hydraulic wreckers (25 ton-50 ton).
Over the course of its 34 years in business, Ebbens Towing & Auto witnessed a great many changes and upgrades. There has been the addition of bays as well as new diagnostic technology and more. However, the quality of customer service has continued to remain the same, excellent. We invite you to stop in and experience for yourself.
